Analysts of the EPN partner network noted the growth of the e-commerce market

According to partner network ePN, in the third quarter of 2019, the number of orders in online stores increased by 18%. In addition, there is a decrease in the average purchase receipt — more than 6% - every month buyers make purchases more often, but the cost of purchased goods is less.

The total market volume for 3 months amounted to 400million rubles. Wildberries, Russia's largest online retailer and one of the leaders, has a noticeable growth. According to the retailer, at the end of the third quarter of 2019, the turnover of the site increased by 92% to 55 billion rubles, compared to the same period last year. And the number of buyers has doubled.

In total, for the 3rd quarter of 2019, the ePN partner network attracted more than 1.7 million users to the websites of advertisers and 1.5 million people among them are users of the Backit cashback service. The most visited month was September — about 600 thousand unique users. During the period from July to September, the company paid more than 240 million rubles of cashback and 135 million rubles of webmaster rewards. Increased activity in the 3rd quarter is associated with the beginning of the new season, which requires an update of the wardrobe and related products, and, in particular, with the annual August sale on Aliexpress website.

Ekaterina Dontsova (Solyagina), operation director of ePN (e-Commerce Partners Network), said: "The 3rd quarter of 2019 was productive both for our company and for the e-commerce market as a whole. The e-commerce market continues to pick up speed and seasonality has less impact on consumer activity. This is showed by the growth of the number of orders and market volume. So the 3rd quarter of 2019 became more profitable for advertisers — our partner network brought them 14.3% more turnover compared to the second quarter of the same year."
