The International Forum of Security & Safety Technologies brings together the elite, the core of a huge professional community in the security industry - those who deal with security architecture, who invest and make key decisions, who offer or choose technologies, who hire staff and are responsible for instructing.
Gathering such experts at one platform is the main function and mission of the International Forum of Security & Safety Technologies, which we are trying to implement better every year.
Some time ago, the Forum stopped to be a regular exhibition on security and transformed into a platform for dialogue, interaction and cooperation. This has become a natural process, since there are always a lot of people who make decisions in this or that area at the Forum. They are all interested in exchanging experience, discussing and building joint plans. And this is what makes the Forum, along with its exposition, 14 conferences and round tables, so important and attractive in the business calendar of every representative of the security industry.
At the same time, the Forum's Organizing Committee decided to hold special events for customers and suppliers of security systems during the year. Now we make two or three events a month that are dedicated to current industry topics. We focus on the tasks of certain groups of state, municipal or private Russian customers. These unique meetings reflect the real agenda of representatives of the state and commercial segments of the security market.
My expectations from the International Forum of Security & Safety Technologies 2020 are related to the belief that advanced solutions should appear on the market so that investments in security do not devalue but bring an effect.
There is another important point: a number of key technologies are in the center of the digital transformation of the security sphere at the moment. This includes video surveillance, video analytics, biometrics, information security and others. So today companies that previously worked only in a narrow security segment now have huge prospects and new markets are opening up for Forum participants. It is great that this year's Forum is attended by those who are developing relevant projects in Russian regions, in Russian industry, construction and even in agriculture.
It should be noted that cultural institutions are also very active this year, providing one of the most trending tasks - the security of places of mass gathering of people. It is coming to the first plan all over the world, and it is very good that the process in this area has gained new momentum in Russia.
According to the Russian Foreign Ministry, whose experts are from the Organizing Committee, this year representatives of foreign countries are showing increased interest in the Forum's program and exposition.
Thus, today at the International Forum of Security & Safety Technologies we see a new quality of cooperation, more contracts, more mutual understanding between buyers and technology suppliers, which, I hope, will allow our Russian companies to develop foreign markets successfully.
