International service provider Orange Business Services started to deploy Smart Office solution in the head office of Linde Engineering company in Russia. Digitalization of a part of working processes will increase the efficiency of employees and will help to create comfortable conditions in the office. Thus, for example, Orange solution will let forward notifications  quickly in IT department, administrative department, cleaning and catering services or other company departments through tablet PCs and QR codes located in key points of the office.

Sales of Cisco products grow in Russia despite import substitution policy

Product revenue of Cisco in Russia in 2019 financial year (came to the end for the company on July 31) grew by 6% in dollars. It is said in the annual report of Cisco published in October, 2019.

In general over BRICM countries (Brazil, Russia, India, China, Mexico) Cisco turnover from sales of products was reduced by 1% with especially strong falling in China – minus 16%. However Russia and also India and Mexico where growth was observed, allowed to level negative effect, said in the annual report of the company.

Venezuela intends to pay Russia in cryptocurrency for construction of housing

At the beginning of November, 2019 it became known of plans of Venezuela to pay Russia in cryptocurrency for construction of housing. Experts consider that such transactions are still impossible.

As the Venezuelan Minister of Construction Ildemaro Vilyaroel told RIA Novosti, the government of the country is going to resume cooperation with Russia in the field of construction of social housing and intends to involve in financing cryptocurrency El Petro.

Huawei invests $10 million in development of an ecosystem of mobile applications in Russia

At the beginning of November, 2019 Huawei announced investment of $10 million into development of mobile applications in Russia. Means will go for encouragement of the Russian developers and owners of software which will become a part of an ecosystem of Huawei Mobile Services (HMS). The details of future investments into the companies are not disclosed.

Huawei will deliver its "most high-performance processors" to fulfill the "Yarovaya law"

Huawei will supply its most high-performance processors of the Kunpeng series for the implementation of the "Yarovaya law" and for other projects of the national program "Digital economy". The Chinese company intends to establish joint production of the equipment necessary for realization of the law with the Russian company "Norsi-Trans". The equipment will be created on the basis of Kunpeng processors and using Russian components. The signing ceremony of the partnership agreement between the companies will be held on October 31.
