"Since Uipath entered the Russian and CIS markets, 2019 has been the most successful year in terms of sales growth and profit. Moreover, we have overtaken divisions in many other developing countries. This was promoted by the active development of digitalization programs and business process automation in large and medium-sized Russian private and public companies," -  said Svetlana Anisimova, CEO of Uipath in Russia and the CIS.

In total Uipath sales in Russia and the CIS in 2019, more than 30% were accounted for banks and insurance companies, 23% - heavy industry enterprises, 20% – retail, 15% – telecommunications companies and 5% - energy holdings.

The company's clients include more than 100 leading companies in Russia and the CIS. With the help of RPA solutions of Uipath, business processes are automated by such leaders in their industries as Magnitogorsk metallurgical combine, VTB, Greenatom, Norilsk Nickel, Rostelecom, Severstal, SIBUR Holding and X5 Retail Group.

According to Uipath experts, growth will continue this year. This will be facilitated by both the hyperautomatization trend and the launch of the new Uipath product line. According to Svetlana Anisimova, their pilot implementation has already begun in a number of large companies.

To ensure sustainable growth, Uipath will strengthen its collaboration with representatives of international companies that provide consulting services. This will help clients to build business process automation strategies based on the best global practices.

At the same time, the lack of RPA specialists remains a serious constraint on growth. That’s why Uipath will develop a global initiative in Russia to train such employees in 2020. "The lack of personnel in the market forces companies to postpone projects on deep implementation of RPA technologies. Directors are afraid that they won’t be able to find people who can set everything up correctly," - said Svetlana Anisimova.
