On June 9, 235 managers and specialists of safety units, departments of labor protection and industrial safety departments took part in the online conference “Industry 4.0: implementation of machine vision, production video analytics systems and artificial intelligence”.
Experts discussed projects aimed at improving the efficiency and control of industrial safety at production facilities, analyzed the advantages of cross-technological solutions, including wearable devices, the Internet of things, machine vision systems, AR/VR, video analytics etc.
Next in the program: June, 23, the conference "AgroTech: intelligent technologies in agriculture"
The capabilities of machine vision cameras, computing platforms, software development tools together with a broader understanding of the value of an industrial company place new demands not only on the performers but also on the customer. Maxim Soroka, CEO of Vitek, told about the impact of technologies on business models of interaction between the customer and the contractor and examples of optimal hardware and software solutions for deploying a visual control system based on neural networks.
Alexey Zherdev, director of the department of new technologies at RUSAL, shared his experience of using digital technologies to solve environmental monitoring problems, including production video analytics systems.
Maxim Zakharov, system architect of Cyber IControl, told how to ensure the control of the extraction and production of inert materials using neural network robots.
Farid Nigmatullin, CEO of Videomatrix, will share his own experience and cases of using video analytics to automate control and production processes and answer the question how to automate 100% control of the product on the conveyor, how to control the work of an employee, how to prevent thefts, how to reduce the defects to zero and, most importantly, how to save millions of rubles by reducing equipment downtime because of abnormal situations in the technological process?
Roman Rudin, head of digitalization at Atomredmetzoloto company, told about the smart helmets project and the experience of Atomredmetzoloto in digitalizing labor protection and industrial safety.
Tanya Milek, methodology and unification manager of Rusagro group, told about the implementation of the unusual project called "Big Brother for Piglet" and the practice of using artificial intelligence in production for remote weighing of animals.
Vladimir Tsarev, CEO of Mallenom Systems company, reviewed case studies of the application of machine vision in combination with artificial intelligence technologies, the main barriers faced by businesses in the mass implementation of these systems and gave practical recommendations to overcome these barriers.
Pavel Kurochkin, manager of the labor protection, industrial safety and ecology function at NIPIGAS company will present the experience of implementing digital technologies at facilities: UAVs for monitoring work; application of video analytics technology based on self-learning neural networks.
The event ended with a panel discussion with the participation of Tanya Milek (Rusagro), Larisa Medvedeva (Sukhoi Company), Ivan Buyanov (Uralkali), Maxim Soroka (Vitek), Farid Nigmatullin (Videomatrix), Maxim Zakharov (Cyber Icontrol).
Experts discussed why digital transformation is needed at the enterprise, what prevents mass implementation of digital technologies, what blocks the realization of cases and how to overcome these blocks, how to find a balance between internal and external development.
Ivan Buyanov from Uralkali company pointed out the lack of test stands, lack of confidence in technologies and the complexity of technical support as the main obstacles on the way of implementation of digital technologies. In addition, in his opinion, there is a problem in the general lack of awareness of enterprises about the latest technologies. The expert offered to create proposals for customers for individual product groups, a description of specific cases with a focus on prices within the XXVI International Forum of Security & Safety Technologies.
Tanya Milek (Rusagro group) noted that the specifics of the hardware and software complex is that this industry is quite inert. The main problem is to force business to move towards digital transformation. There should be support of management so Rusagro aims to form D-Suite, when the operational and financial top management are focused on digital. Uncertainty in technology is removed by the implementation of small pilot projects. This also allows to save significantly on implementing solutions.
Larisa Medvedeva (Sukhoi Company) drew attention to the fact that it is difficult for state companies to find the necessary budget for the implementation of certain technologies. The exit is an opportunity to enter the state program of financing in the direction of the digital economy. The company is moving towards digitalization gradually, implementing small projects. There are also objections and distrust on the part of middle managers in this process of digitalization — employees are afraid that the company won’t need them or they will have to significantly change their activities.
Maxim Zakharov from Cyber IControl is sure that the successful completion of the task is impossible without the correct problem statement on the part of the customer. The interaction between the supplier and the customer is always a symbiosis with its own advantages and risks.
Maxim Soroka (Vitek) is convinced that digitalization will be successful if the management of the customer company determines the systems of processing and receiving information as the key competence of the company. The appropriate budget will be allocated and the teams will expand if this becomes an integral part of the production process.
All conferences of the XXVI International Forum of Security & Safety Technologies are held on the Secuteck ADAPT online platform which is provided by the main information partner -Security & Safety magazine.
The XXVI International Forum of Security & Safety Technologies is a continuous communication program for customers, regulators and suppliers. Even now, every week, customers and solution providers discuss current issues in an online format. Every month, online conferences are held with demonstrations of real projects, industrial cases and modern technologies. And on February 9-11, 2021, we will be happy to see everyone at a real, not virtual event - the All-Russian technology review and 15 industry conferences will be waiting for you!
